There are 12 different animals with information signs scattered all over Highland Park for you to discover! Take a picture of them and share them on your favorite social media!

There are a dozen animals hidden all throughout the park with information about them!
These are the ones for the Lilac Photo Hunt!
While there are other animals hidden around the park left for you as distractions,
you need to find the ones with the informational signs (shown below) with QR codes on them for this hunt specifically!
Red Fox
Woodchuck
Salamander
Remember to leave these for others to find!
As a special bonus, around each animal keep an eye out you can find smaller animals out of the same material that you can keep for yourself.
AND, there are also small rocks carved with these animals hidden near these signs as well as ALL OVER Highland Park!
Please keep an eye out and take these home with you!
So, what do I win if
I find all the animals?
We will be collecting all of the names of those who find all of the animals and take pics of them and will be putting their names into a hat. The first 10 people will have a chance to pick from one of the animal design (without the information) and can take it home!
Plus you get to say that you are the Lilac Scavenger Hunt Winner for 2025, which when you think about it, is pretty impressive just for the bragging rights.

All of the animals you are looking for are found in Highland Park. Some are in the open, others are hidden amongst the flowers, some might be on a tree!
NOTE: They are not on private property, in any parking lots, or any dangerous place behind fences, so please stay out of the neighbor’s yards and be aware of your surroundings!
